Welcome to PurchaseRewind. By using our iOS app and browser extension ("Services"), you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using PurchaseRewind, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Description of Service
PurchaseRewind is a mindful shopping app that:
- Reads health data (with your permission) to assess stress and fatigue levels
- Displays gentle reminders on shopping websites when elevated stress is detected
- Helps you pause before making impulse purchases
The app is designed to support mindful decision-making. It is not a substitute for professional financial or medical advice.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
3.1 Subscription Plans
PurchaseRewind offers the following subscription options:
- Monthly: $4.99 per month
- Yearly: $39.99 per year
3.2 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
3.3 Managing Subscriptions
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings:
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select PurchaseRewind
- Tap Cancel Subscription
3.4 Refunds
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be made directly through Apple. We cannot process refunds directly.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Services only for lawful, personal purposes
- Provide accurate information when creating an account
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the app
- Not use the Services to harm others or violate any laws
5. Health Data
PurchaseRewind accesses HealthKit data only with your explicit permission. By granting access, you acknowledge that:
- Health data is processed locally on your device
- Only aggregate scores are synced to our servers
- You can revoke access at any time through iOS Settings

6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that:
- The app will prevent any particular purchase
- Stress or sleep assessments are medically accurate
- The Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
PurchaseRewind is a self-help tool, not a medical device or financial advisor.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PurchaseRewind and its creators shall not be liable for:
- Any purchases you make or don't make
- Financial decisions based on app recommendations
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or interruption of service
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Services in the past 12 months.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of PurchaseRewind—including text, graphics, logos, and software—are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Services without permission.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the app and canceling your subscription.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Apple's Standard EULA
Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for Licensed Applications, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
